Sharawi students in Moroccan Universities are always being attacked by the Moroccan authorities, often at the time of their examination.

We still remember the dozens Saharawis whom were sent to the prison because of their peaceful manifestations, calling for the Independence of their countrythe Western Sahara.
Western Sahara has been occupied by Morocco since 1975.
We still remember Seltana Khaya who lost her eye because of the torture she recieved together with hundreds of Saharawi students from the Moroccan police after they had broke into the University of Marrakech in the 9th May 2007.
